Moravian College Tour a success

moravian

CIA recently hosted a 2-game schedule for touring American college, Moravian. The Greyhounds, led by Head Coach Jim Walker, are well known for their international travel and enjoyed two incredible games during their visit. CIA hosted them first with the addition of Milton Keynes Lions guard, Ishmael Fontaine and University of Washington Forward, Matthew Bryan-Amaning. The 6′10″ Bryan-Amaning proved a handfull for the visitors but a strong third quarter gave them the lead they needed to come away victorious.

On Friday night they would meet stiffer competition as CIA compiled a team of some of the best players in the country. It featured 6 former England Internationals and 2 current GB Internationals and proved too strong for the traveling Greyhounds. The game took place at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre and was free for all spectators that filled the bleachers, including NBA superstar Pops Mensah-Bonsu who also came down to support before heading back to America where he’ll suit up alongside Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming.
