Italy for Lawmann
We are delighted to announce that former CIA player, Benji Lawmann, has accepted an offer of a professional contract in Spain. The highly skilled, London-born Shooting Guard will play in Spain’s Division 2 after a successful appearance in the 2009 Eurobasket Summer League in Malaga.
A good first season could mean an immediate jump to Division 1 where NBA players such as Ricky Rubio have competed, offering exposure to NBA scouts. Benji flew out on Friday (25th) to begin pre-season preparations and will keep us up to date with his progress on the new CIA blog!
