There’s no rest for CIA as they prepare for a tough double-header in the opening weekend of the 2009/10 season. They host the Cardinals on Saturday at the earlier time of 6pm before traveling to Greenwich on Monday night to play the Admirals.

CIA are expected to be without Small Forward Lee Fraser on Saturday but rookie Point Guard Kyran Boyce is expected to make his first team debut and 6′6″ Power Forward Darryl Lewis will also make a welcome return to the line up. CIA will go into this Saturday’s game with confidence after an impressive preseason performance. Point Guard Luke Bowler said, ‘I think we all feel confident and relaxed – our offense is feeling great and we’re taking pride in our defense. We’re looking forward to the challenge!’.

A full squad is expected to travel to Greenwich on Monday when CIA visit the Admirals at 8pm. CIA currently hold a 3-0 record over the Admirals and will hope to continue their winning form. CIA are also expected to field another new signing for the 2009/10 season and will soon welcome back sharp shooter, Nikhil Lawry.

Tickets for this Saturday’s game cost £4 for Adults, £2.50 for Children and £10 for a Family of four. Spectators that attended last week’s game should bring their flyer with them to claim £1.50 off their entry price. The game tips off at 6:15pm and visitors can buy refreshments from the arena bar.
