CIA hope to bring down Saints

CIA Men’s First team travel to Dalston on Saturday to take on second placed NLA Saints. The Saints hold a 50/50 record having won and lost 3 games. CIA also hold an early 50/50 record after winning and losing 2 games but are confident they’ve shaken the early season rust.

Saturday’s game, which tips-off at 4:00pm, could be a crucial fixture for both teams as they enter the Christmas break. CIA should have beaten first placed Knights after leading by as many as 11 in the final 4 minutes of the game but a late break in concentration allowed the Knights a victory. CIA will be looking to put things right when they meet NLA.

CIA will be without Small Forward Lee Fraser who remains on the sidelines with ligament damage, but with Shooting Guard Daniel Montague and Point Guard Babs Maye back in the line up as well as rookie Michale Brown more than earning his spot at the Small Forward position, CIA will go into Saturday’s game with confidence.
