CIA dismiss Cardinals
Nik Lawry (Pictured) hit a game-high 22 points as CIA beat the Cardinals comfortably 80-56. Daniel Montague recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds and Chi Lewis-Parry added one of his own with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Despite the scores remaining close in the first quarter, CIA holding a narrow lead 18-13, by the half CIA had built a 20-point lead, 41-21. It was a similar story in the third quarter, CIA leading by 19 going into the fourth before cruising to a 26-point victory. Michale Brown lead in steals with 4 and the team rallied to hit a combined 9 three-pointers on their way to the win.
The ‘W’ drags CIA up the table ahead of their Quarter Final clash with familiar rivals Rocco Raiders next week. CIA will return home on the 30th January when they host Greenwich at 7:30pm at Westcroft Leisure Centre in Carshalton.
