New season looms
Just 4 weeks remain until the start of the 2010/11 season when CIA will make a welcome return to Premier Division competition.
The LMBL released the full line up today with CIA joined by Alleyn’s Apaches, Camden Knights, Hackney White Heat, Hackney Community College, MacPro, Met Trident Lewisham, Met Trident Lions, Omega Lewisham Thunder and Westminster Warriors.
The announcement was met with some surprise as familiar rivals Lithuanians and Rocco Raiders are both missing from the list. However, CIA will face some familiar match ups including Met Trident Lewisham. The two teams have met more times than any other teams over the past 5 seasons and every game is fiercely contested.
Meanwhile CIA’s second team will compete in Division 2 and are joined by Brent Blazers, Christians in Action Church, City Stags, Greenwich Admirals II, Hammersmith and Fulham Future Stars, Islington Panthers, Jump-off Bulldogs, London Heat, London Pioneers, London Spartans and Newham Youngbloods.
